Switzerland is a scenic delight wherever one goes and it was no different with Interlaken. We had just come back from a hectic round of the streets of Zurich. It was therefore quite soothing to be amidst one of the most beautifully scenic spots in Switzerland, Interlaken. Interlaken was a totally different world from the sleepy parts we come from. The city is a landscape of calm, serene and picturesque environment. We had rented a double bed room in one of the Interlaken hotels. The room had a balcony with the perfect street side view. We asked directions to the main shopping areas of Interlaken as we had been informed that Interlaken is well known for shopping attractions. There were an endless number of Interlaken hotels beside the hotel we were staying in. Interlaken has a good number of international cuisine restaurants to cater to the tastes of the international traveler.
